Geneviève Elizabeth Brideau Hébert, age 45

Geneviève Elizabeth Brideau Hébert, from Leech, NB, was brutally assaulted by her husband in the Montréal region. She sadly passed away three days later because of the injuries caused by the assault on June 7, 1979. Her husband admitted that her death was caused by him. Prior to her death, Geneviève was in an extremely violent relationship for years. Despite the injuries and scars over the years, she was always a courageous and vibrant woman. She was caring, hardworking, and friendly. For her family and friends, she was an example of perseverance and she will always be remembered.
